What to expect

Initial phone consultation

We discuss your concerns and confirm whether a speech-language assessment is appropriate. No referral is required to book. Call 905-792-1626 Monday to Friday, 9 am–7 pm.

Assessment

Your child’s SLP uses standardized tests, parent-report tools and clinical observation to understand strengths and areas of difficulty. Reports are shared with families and, if requested, with pediatricians or schools.

Goals and treatment plan

You receive a written plan with specific, measurable goals, recommended session frequency and expected review intervals. Plans are adjusted as your child progresses.

Therapy sessions

Sessions are play-based for younger children and skill-based for older kids and teens. Parents and caregivers are welcome to observe and are taught carry-over strategies to support progress at home.

Progress reviews

Formal reviews track goal progress on a set cadence and adjust the plan as your child develops. You stay informed at every step.
